Next Round
A little help

Back in your rhythm.

Start your first session

Choose HIIT or Tabata. Tap the work/rest/rounds panel to edit it, then Start session. A five-second preparation countdown gives you time to get ready; you can change or remove it in the editor.

Pause, skip, or finish

Pause freezes your place and lets your screen sleep. Resume continues from that moment. The skip button advances to the next interval. End session clears the current run and keeps your settings. There is no rest after the final work round.

Why is the bell quiet?

Raise your media volume and use “Try the double bell” in Settings to check it. Boxing bells play as workout audio, including in Silent Mode, and mix with your music. Pause or end the session to stop them. Haptics can be toggled separately.

What happens when I lock the phone?

Your timer and boxing bells continue as a background workout audio session. The screen stays awake while running in the app. Optional interval notifications add visual banners without duplicating the bell. A call or disconnected headphones pauses the session; resume when ready. If you force-quit the app, open it again to restore the current timer.

What does the Live Activity show?

It mirrors your current work, rest, or preparation countdown, round number, and pause/resume controls. Tap the activity to open the app. If it is missing, check Settings → Apps → Next Round → Live Activities. Dynamic Island is available on supported iPhones. If iOS stops the app, the activity stops at zero and asks you to open the app to continue.

Where is my data?

On this iPhone only. There is no account or sync. Settings and the current timer are excluded from backups. Deleting the app deletes them.
