This policy describes Next Round for iPhone, provided by Ferre Mekelenkamp, and its separate support website.

The iPhone app

Next Round does not collect or transmit personal data. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, purchases, or remote server. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or health data.

What stays on your phone

The app saves your HIIT and Tabata settings, haptic preferences, notification preference, and the current session's timing information locally. This is used only to run and restore your timer. It is excluded from device backups. We cannot access it. Deleting Next Round deletes this local data.

Live Activities and notifications

If enabled, iOS displays interval timing and workout settings on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Workout bells are synthesized and played locally, including while the screen is locked. Optional interval notifications are scheduled locally on your iPhone. Neither feature sends your workout data to us. You can disable these features in iOS Settings.

Website and support

This static website is hosted on GitHub Pages. We have added no analytics, cookies, or tracking scripts. GitHub may process IP addresses and request information to operate and protect its services. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

If you voluntarily create a support request, your GitHub profile and the information you submit are publicly visible on GitHub. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate problems. Avoid posting sensitive information. You can edit your issue or ask us to remove content under our control; GitHub's retention and account policies also apply.

Changes and contact

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date. For questions about privacy, use the contact route on our support page.
